Winterhawk

Winterhawk is a new Westbred winter wheat with excellent standability and drought tolerance. It is a medium-short height, medium-maturity variety with a consistent yield history across the Central and High Plains. The cold tolerance of this wheat is one of the best we've tested. Excellent grazing potential. Straw strength is excellent, this provides better standability and improved thresh-ability.

Beardless Wheat

Tam 204 - New
New beardless wheat
Tam 204 is a medium maturity, short height awnless winter wheat. It is resistant to the Hessian Fly, Green Bug, Soil Borne Mosaic, Wheat Curl Mite and Stem Rust. It is moderately resistant to Stripe Rust and Wheat Streak Mosaic. It is moderately susceptible to Leaf Rust. Tam 204 can tolerate acid soils. With excellent straw strength Tam 204 is ideal for a dual purpose or a grain only system.

Deliver

The standard beardless wheat for the High Plains is Deliver. With high grain yield and forage potential. Deliver makes an ideal graze-and-grain wheat. Deliver is moderately resistant to stripe and leaf rust, as well as soil borne mosaic.

Weather Master 135

A good beardless graze out wheat, plant Weather Master 135 for dual purpose grazing and hay production.

Awned Triticale

Texan

Is our variety of triticale which provides heavy pasturing in the fall with an option to make a top-yielding superior quality of silage in the spring or early summer. For best nutritional value swath in the boot stage of growth this will ensure a higher protein and higher digestibility. Feedyard and dairy operations producing Texan Triticale across the southwest have commented that Texan, provides better pasture than other varieties. Tonnage is consistent with Texan, we have seen yields up to 20+ tons/acre.

Graze-All

With top-producing graze-all triticale, you can expect 20 to 35 percent more forage than commonly planted wheat varieties. This particular variety is an excellent dual purpose variety which does best planted early then grazed all season or pull the cattle off in the spring and make silage. Graze all has good nutritional quality for dairy and beef producers.

Awnless Triticale

TriCal Flex 719 Awnless

TriCal 348 Beardless
TriCal 348 is an awnless winter triticale for hay or silage production. TriCal 348 has excellent tonnage from spring silage harvest. It is late maturing and has good winter hardiness. The fall and winter grazing is very good. 348 can be
grazed 25-30 days longer than wheat. Rapid vegetative growth in the spring and tall plant height translates
to excellent silage yield. For the best quality chop in the boot stage. Tolerant of most rust diseases
impacting
wheat. To print a tech-sheet for Trical 348 Click Here.

Forerunner Beardless

Beardless with great grazing and consistent hay production. It has short awnlettes. Forerunner triticale is very winter hardy, with great nutritional quality and high yields. Tambar 500 is leafy, high tillering, and shorter than some fall and winter forages giving it better standability and quality. The grain yield of Tambar is excellent we have had it make over 100 bushels many times. Even after grazing.
